If you love purses you're gonna love this! Girls Inc, is organizing their annual Power of the Purse fundraising event! This organizaiton helps at risk girls to be strong, smart and bold. This year I will be designing 2 purses for Mike and AMy of the WOLF, FM 99.5. They will be getting boots from famous singers and I will transform the boots into fabulous purses or bags or perhaps one will be a "man bag"?? We'll see what inspiration transpires within the next few weeks. One purse will be auctioned the night of the fundraiser, April 30th. The other will be posted on The Wolf website and available by an online auction. I can hardly wait to see who's boots I'll be cutting, sewing, glue and generally giving them a new out look on life! Yehaw!
